The first phase of any of our coaching engagements requires an intensive deep dive into your business and the current state of your 4 Fires. For us to help you fully, we must know you fully. We call this Authentic Awareness. In this phase, we will conduct awareness assessments to help both the client and the coach understand how the client operates naturally, and how this has impacted their past and where they are today. In this phase we will build the foundation of our relationship with you as your coach.

In this phase, we will work together and begin to determine which areas of life are most important for you to devote additional time and energy. We will then build out your vision, goals and plans for your desired future in each area of your life. We want to be crystal clear on what winning looks like because action without a clear destination results in a lot of unnecessary and often counterproductive movement. We will also determine your commitment level in each of the areas of your life. We are clear that “coaching in the absence of a commitment quickly becomes nagging,” so it is important that you make the commitment and give us the permission to coach you in these areas of your life and business.

In this phase, we settle into helping you get to where you are going. One of our primary roles as your coach is to help you remain focused on what your vision for winning looks like, being sure that the actions you are taking are aligned with your stated destination. We will identify areas in which are avoiding taking action (because vision without action is just a fantasy) and bring to your attention actions that are counterproductive to who you want to be and what you want to be doing. In this phase, we will be frank and forthright and there will likely be some challenging conversations. We are not afraid to lean in and engage in conflict when we believe it is in your own best interest.

As you progress through the coaching process, you will grow personally and professionally. Our goal as your coach is always to meet you where you are and consistently push you in the direction you want to go. Periodically, we will reassess where you are, redesign where you want to go next and what that looks like. Then we will realign our coaching to determine the most appropriate path for you to move forward as fast as you want. For some of our clients this will mean less consistent coaching because they have adopted the principles of the 4 Fires and can apply them on their own. For others it will mean identifying a new level of growth and partnering with their coach for another round of gains.
